Mount Kilimanjaro

Your getaway to Africa’s highest mountains and remotest areas

Climb the “Roof of Africa”, on Mt Kilimanjaro, trek with the Masai through their ancestral land or explore the unique flora and fauna of the untouched rainforests. Trekking is the best way to experience the wonders of the stunning mountainous areas of Tanzania and to absorb the wonderful nature and beautiful views. Whether you set foot on the summits of Tanzania’s highest mountains or just walk through the lush forests on the lower slopes for a few hours – trekking in this country offers something for everyone. Volcanoes, high plateaus and mountain ranges, lakes and craters offer superb possibilities for short hikes or long treks.

''ETHICAL CLIMBS''

Imagine having to carry 30 kg of somebody else’s stuff up the highest mountain in Africa, on your head, at a dazzling speed because you have to get to the campsite in time to build tents and cook food for the tourists, all whilst being paid just 5 USD per day and having to sleep on the floor in a leaking tent… Unfortunately, this is reality for many porters on Kilimanjaro. But we have decided to do things differently, and to never put people in horrible conditions just for our own profit. No, we don’t offer the cheapest tours on the market, but every extra cent goes towards creating respectful working conditions for our crew members. We hope you will help us make a difference.
